There are many benefits of sales training for your self and your sales reps at the gym, that will make you grow as a professional team and business. The importance of sales training has been studied for years, waaaay before I even knew I would get into training, and thank God for that! The statistics are scary and helpful at the same time. I believe it goes back to our child hood. Statistics show how essential that 50% of sales consultants give up the first time a prospect says no to the sale. this means they are tapping out early without even trying to build that relationship or keep in touch with the prospect.
Do You Have A Quota At The Gym
If you have a quota at the gym….which you should, Bally’s total fitness and LA fitness have that in place for their business, it shows that 66% of sales consultants do not meet theirs.
When it comes to closing over half of all salespeople close at less than 40% and to keep this going 40% of salespeople don’t understand their customer needs, that is just crap! You can’t sign up someone to your gym if you do not even know what your customer needs and if you do not care about what they need…you should not even be running a gym.
When a potential client calls you and the sales rep missed the call, they will attempt to call them back once or twice and then give up when It takes an average of 8 cold call attempts to set a meeting with a potential client, and you are giving up after the 2 attemp…c’mon!
Keep up the grind and DO NOT give up after the first no!
